Miss Binette's Class 2017 - 2018

STEM Cooperative Challenge:   "Can we save Fred?" Teams of students had to work together and cooperate to save Fred a snake that was trapped on his capsized boat in the Great Lakes.  Fred remembered his life preserver, but it was stuck under his boat.  The students were challenged to put Fred safely into his life preserver without directly using their hands.    

Cracking the Classroom Code:   Alien Abduction During the first week of school, students joined forces to rescue Mrs. Altham-Hickey and Dr. Kelly after they were abducted by aliens.  The aliens demanded an extensive list of school supplies in exchange for our school leaders.  Teams worked tirelessly together on the rescue mission while learning about their new classroom and classmates.                   SUCCESS!
